THE HOUSE OF GOD
THE GATE OF HEAVEN

Clouds

Jacob "dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth,

and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it

And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place;

and I knew it not. And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place!

this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven."

STATEMENT OF FAITH

ONE CHURCH

We follow the traditional teachings of the doctrine of Christ as taught by the early church. Hebrews 6:1-2, Acts 2:42.

  • Belief in the eternal God as Creator of all things

  • Belief in the triune Godhead ie God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (three persons yet one God)

ONE FAITH

  • Belief in one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5)

  • Belief in Jesus Christ as the eternal Son of God, God revealing Himself to man - He is called Immanuel, meaning GOD WITH US

  • Belief in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ to pay for our sins, and that He is now at the right hand of the Father

ONE LORD

  • Belief in the Bible as the inspired Word of God which cannot fail – the Old Testament is fulfilled in the New (Luke 24:27)

These are the doctrines followed by the first Church as recorded in the book of Acts in the Bible. Like the early Church, we seek to continue steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread and in prayers (Acts 2:42).

"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection;

not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment."
